For venue owners and managers
Take over
your listing.
IndieCafe lists rooms across Raleigh and the Triangle, compiled from public information. If you run one of them, you can register, prove it, and manage the listing yourself — or have it taken down.
Straight answers
How this works.
Why is my venue already listed?
Because it is a real room that puts on shows, and that is public information. Every listing is built from the venue’s own website, with the date we checked it shown on the card. Nothing private is published, and nothing is claimed on your behalf.
What does claiming get me?
Control of your own record: the description, the genres, the website link, and the calendar link. Your listing stops reading as unclaimed, and people can ask to connect with you through IndieCafe instead of guessing.
What do I need to prove?
That you actually run the room. A role listed on the venue’s own website, or an email at the venue’s domain, is usually enough. Every claim is reviewed by a person before anything changes hands — approval is never automatic.
I manage more than one room.
Claim each one from the same account. Each is verified separately, and you only ever get to edit the ones you have been approved for.
I want it gone.
Choose “ask for removal” below. We honour removal requests without argument and the listing stays down.
Does any of this cost anything?
No. IndieCafe cannot take payments at all right now. Nothing here sells tickets, charges fees, or promises bookings.
